Fall is finally here! As we welcome in the cooler temperatures, we also say goodbye to Hurricane Season. Read on for a special story from our Community Manager, Priscilla, about some amazing neighbors here in the Fairways.
Dear Residents,
While this especially warm summer felt endless, fall is finally here! I will be glad to welcome in the cooler weather and all the outdoor activities that go along with it, as well as officially saying goodbye to Hurricane Season.
In this issue, I wanted to share a story with you all about neighbors helping neighbors. We have a wonderful elderly couple in the Fairways that had some damage to their home and required repairs. I reached out to several residents, including Gerry and Barbara Mishloney, and to some local high school students who wanted to do community service work to honor their school. A few calls were all it took - The Mishloney’s took charge and coordinated with the students’ scheduling, and not long after the repair work was in full swing. This fantastic team of volunteers fixed minor items on the exterior of the home, repaired and replaced the skirting, power washed the home, painted the house and trim, and created a lovely front flowerbed. What an awesome gift of fellowship and caring for one another. My sincere thanks to all the volunteers. The Fairways truly is a wonderful place to call home.

As a reminder, the speed limit within our community is 15 MPH. With our narrow streets being shared by walkers, bikers, and golf carts, speeding creates a safety concern. Please remind your neighbors and guests to follow the posted speed limit. Thank you!
