About Hometown America
Our story began in 1997, when Hometown America was founded. We’re a privately held company that owns and operates nearly 80 communities in 12 states. We continue to grow through acquisition and development and work hard to maintain our reputation as a land lease community industry leader.

Foundational to Community: Our RENEW Partnership
Consistent with our mission to provide caring involvement in the larger civic communities we serve, we’ve partnered with the Real Estate Networking Education and Work program (RENEW), which brings both employment and housing opportunities to disadvantaged individuals caught in the cycle of poverty and homelessness. RENEW recruits, supports, trains, and provides mentorship to students in property management. For recent student sessions, Hometown has provided curriculum assistance, guest speakers, mentors, resume assistance, and mock interviews. We’re genuinely excited and inspired by this opportunity to make a real-life impact in our communities’ neighborhoods.
