Hometown America concluded its final East Region Hometown Service Day on June 14th with a meaningful partnership with the Warrior Ranch Foundation. Located in the heart of our New York communities, this remarkable organization combines a deep-rooted passion for horses with a profound respect for our nation’s veterans.
The Warrior Ranch Foundation offers a unique platform for veterans to heal and find purpose through their work with rescued horses. While participants primarily engage in non-riding activities such as grooming, feeding, and general care, these interactions foster invaluable bonds and promote leadership, stress reduction, and therapeutic benefits for both the veterans and the horses.
Our team members contributed to the ranch’s ongoing operations by tackling various maintenance tasks including sanding and painting pillars, weed whacking, raking, gardening, and minor carpentry work. Their dedication and hard work made a tangible impact on the ranch’s facilities and overall environment.
