On June 20th, Hometown America’s southwest Florida team members joined forces for a special Service Day! Team members from Landmark Naples, Southern Pines, Tara Woods, and Del Tura came together to lend a helping hand at the Harry Chapin Food Bank, a vital organization in the fight against hunger across southwest Florida.

The day was a resounding success! Our teams, spread across the Naples and Fort Myers Distribution Centers, tackled a mountain of fresh produce, bagging a staggering 1,200 bags. They also prepped over 5,000 pounds of potatoes, ensuring these essential supplies reached families in need.

This Service Day wasn’t just about hard work, though. It was a fantastic opportunity for our team members to learn more about the Harry Chapin Food Bank’s incredible network. Through their volunteerism, they gained a deeper appreciation for the many food pantries the Harry Chapin Food Bank supports and the vast reach of its hunger-relief efforts.

We’re incredibly proud of our Hometown America southwest Florida teams for giving of their time and efforts to make a real difference in the larger civic communities in which we operate!
