Florida Hometown America Communities: Spreading Holiday Cheer

December 2019

This holiday season, Hometown America communities around Florida came together to give back to a local elementary school. Across the state, neighbors collected school supplies, toys, clothes and personal items for donation. At the December Florida Regional Meeting, a Hometown team collected all of the items donated – so many items were collected that several cars were needed!

When the team dropped off the supplies at the elementary school, it was clear to see that the donation drive would make a big difference to students with the greatest need. All of the gifts will be shared among students experiencing hardships, including those who may be struggling with homelessness or in transition. Thank you to our residents and staff who made this possible and helped spread some holiday cheer throughout Florida.

Your next move doesn't require packing boxes.
