By Popular Demand, Bingo Is Back
Bingo has returned! The Fairways Homeowners Association has selected a new state-approved bingo system that is user friendly and provides exciting bingo games for residents and guests.

On June 20, we go to Mt. Dora for high tea, and we are so excited! There is limited space available for this trip, so please contact the activities director by coming to the office to sign up. The price is $40 and includes chartered transportation both ways, snacks and drinks for the ride each way, high tea, lunch and all gratuities.

Yes, we said FREE--smoke alarms, that is. Orange County Fire Rescue (OCFR) has 5,000 free smoke alarms to give away to Orange County residents.

Hometown America Brings Pickleball to Fairways Country Club
Hometown America is excited to launch the nation’s hottest sports trend right here in our community on brand new courts. Two Pickleball courts are now open and ready for play. Invented in the 1960s, Pickleball has especially captured the hearts of seniors, and now you have an opportunity to play here in the community.

After an unfortunate vehicle accident that damaged the exit gate, endured almost six weeks without an operable exit gate. Then, once we finally had the new exit gate installed and operating, it was clear sailing… for all of two hours before the main controller stopped working. We had to replace the main controller unit, which is the brain of the gate system.
We want to thank all of you for your patience during this trying time with off-again, on-again gate operations. We really appreciate your understanding.
