Manager's Corner

Rob's headshot

Hello fellow Pine Lakes residents,

As we approach our winter season and begin spending more time indoors, I would ask that we all look after our friends and neighbors that may need our assistance. Please reach out to your neighbors, have a chat, get to know each other, and maybe make a new friend. In these times more than ever, we need to extend an olive branch and a smile. Sometimes we have no idea what our neighbors have gone through. Maybe they just need a little help!

We will keep the Clubhouse nice and toasty, so take advantage of our Game Room, Gym, Library, and all of the wonderful exercise classes that are offered by fellow residents and organizations.

Thank you all for making Pine Lakes the wonderful community that it is.

Restaurant Review

The newly remodeled Bistro St. Michael on the corner of Whiskey Row and Gurley St in downtown Prescott is my new favorite place to eat.

After 20 years in Prescott, I finally tried them for the very first time. I was not disappointed. The food and service are top notch. Their prices are reasonable. My wife and I had breakfast for less than $30.

The French toast with sausage was the best my wife has ever tasted. Our server told us several of the chefs from other local restaurants keep coming in to find out how they make their sausage taste so good. It is a well-kept secret. The breakfast wrap I had was very big and tasty.

I have no doubt you will be more than impressed with their food and service.

Find Your Color Season

Stack of sweaters

Have you ever noticed that the same shirt looks great on someone else but not on yourself? Don’t worry, you are probably just a different color season! People are divided into Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter color palettes based on their natural features and coloring.

For example, if your skin tone has a warmer undertone, or you consider yourself a redhead, the odds are you’re an Autumn. Dressing in earthy tones like brown, dark green, or orange will help you shine! If your skin has a cooler, pale undertone, and you have dark brown or dirty blonde hair, you’re probably a Winter.

Dressing according to the right season can help you look your best all the time! Take these steps to determine your color palette, or you can do a quiz here!
